Arquitectura

The observation of current architecture focuses on the visual perception of space, while inadvertently disconnected from the body is not considering sensory experiences and perceptions of physical space . Architecture is designed for a world full of visual stimuli, leaving behind experiences that other senses provide, denying an integral design that makes an impression in people. At the same time it is understood that beauty is subjective, it must bea complete experience to determine true beauty from all available inputs. For a moment we must consider the idea: how could you feel architecture? And what great spatial quality could this idea generate? The conception of an architecture that can be felt or sensed is devised to leave a mark on the sensory memory. Its conception is derived from the most primitive human characteristics designed by evolution initially for survival, but now it can used as an additional tool to complement, interact and connect with the environment.

The collage is focused on the visualization of architecture and its evolution or change of structure to humanize the spaces by taking into account the different stimuli provided by context as design elements to create environments and impressions in society, allowing them to discover a new side to commonly used spaces. The study of environmental settings, social variables, sensations and intended paths with a system that proposes dynamic routes and creates diversity, while maintaining sensation as the main point of reference for spaces, is the goal.

The journey that the collage shows is a distribution of activities encompassing social and recreational spaces at its base, continuing on a cultural and sustainable level, followed up by an educational playful /discovery level and progressing into an area of relaxation and amusement. The path then finds its culmination in a space for personal growth and workspaces.

The idea resides in the unification of interactive technologies in the architectural design with sensory stimuli used to create a transforming space that becomes timeless and perpetual in the history of architecture. By implying a connection to a grid of interactive information and data entry from our current and future sources of technology, including devices that we use on a daily basis, such as phones, computers, social media, among others. Allowing artificial intelligence to study, analyze and strategize our behavior regarding urban mobility as an example, to shape and mold the cities and spaces we habituate. As if our minds themselves were connected to the material elements of our routine and they would be able to adapt instantly and evolve to our current needs. This network would become an infinite loop of input and output that receive - organized- selects and projects necessary data that only grows and evolves. Within years the grid will become more intricate and measurable to our needs. It can materialize itself and become architecture or infrastructure that adapts to needs of living, education and work by the economic, ecologic and social demands.
