Project type:

The Hmong is an ethnic group living in Mu Chang Chai. The population communicates through broideries which allows them to convey important information. The project was inspired by one of the Hmong pattern – THE LEAF FOR LIFE, which symbolizes nature and tourism. While analizing it’s shape, I econstructed it and added volume which led to a a new structure. The final form visually interacts with the rice terraces, sorrounds them with a ramp which serves also as a roof. The ramp leads visitors to the higher parts of the building. There, they can realx and learn about Mu Chang Chai.
