PhD in architecture, graduated from the School of Architecture of Seville in 1998, that same year she started working as Associate Professor at the Department of Architectural Projects.

Since then she shares a professional studio with José Morales, who founded in 1987 together with Juan Glez Mariscal the now called MGM, Morales de Giles arquitectos.

She has been awarded with numerous national and international awards among which stand out: The International Spanish Architecture Award 2017, The Spanish Architecture Award 2013, finalist in the Mies van der Rohe Award in 2001 and 2009, first prize in AIT Awards 2012 and 2014 , Awarded in 2016 at the XIII Spanish Architecture and Urbanism Biennial as well as at the X Iberoamerican Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism. Her work has been exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennial in the editions of 2000, 2002, 2006, 2014 and 2016, as well as in the exhibition "ON-SITE New Architecture in Spain" at the Museum of Modern Art in New York ( MoMA).

Her work and projects have been widely published in national and international books and journals, including El Croquis, Lotus, architecture d'aujourd'hui, Bauwelt, A & V, etc. Likewise, monographic books about the Work and projects have been published, among which stand out the magazine 2G nº 51 of the editorial Gustavo Gili 2009 and TC Cuadernos nº 104 of the Editorial TC Cuadernos.

She has been Visiting Professor and lecturer in several Spanish and foreign universities and institutions, among which stand out: Federico Santa María Technical University, Valparaíso (Chile), International University of Catalonia, Barcelona (Spain), Architectural Association of Ireland-Instituto Cervantes, Dublin ( Ireland), Institut Français d'Architecture, Paris (France). Escola da Cidade. Sao Paulo. (Brazil), Ryerson University, Toronto (Canada), Santiago de Chile Catholic University, University of Montevideo, (Uruguay), University of Applied Sciences Hochschule de Bochum (Germany).
