Masahiro Harada who was born in Shizuoka in 1973 is a Principal Architect of MOUNT FUJI ARCHITECTS STUDIO. He established the firm with Mao Harada in 2004. He studied at Shibaura Institute of Technology (Tokyo, Japan) and he completed the master course at the
first list in 1997. Prior he started his firm, he worked at Kengo Kuma & Associates (Tokyo, Japan) as a chief architect, Jose Antonio Martinez Lapena and Elias Torres (Barcelona, Spain) as a Chief Architect as National Fellowship for Artist and Arata Isozaki and associates (Tokyo, Japan) as a project manager.

His awards include the SD Review 2003 Grand Prix (Japan), the Design Vanguard 2009 ARCHITECTURAL RECORD TOP 10 Architect in the World (USA), the Leaf Awards 2010, 2014 Residential Building of the Year (UK), ICONIC AWARDS 2014 (Germany) Young Architect
Award of the Japan Institute of Architects 2015 (Japan), German Design Award 2016 (Germany), etc. He is currently involved in various scales and numbers of projects.

He has been a professor at the School of Architecture of Shibaura Institute of Technology since 2016. He also takes part in juries and lectures at universities inside and outside Japan including the University of Tokyo and Tohoku University.
