María Langarita (1979) graduated in architecture from Universidad de Navarra, and she is a lecturer in Architectural Projects at ETSA Madrid and EPS Arquitectura of Universidad de Alicante.

They work together since 2005 as Langarita-Navarro designing and managing teams powered by innovation, efficiency and imagination, connecting desires and knowledge, resources and technology, expectations and experience.

They have been recognized with the Mies van der Rohe Award Mention to the Emerging Architect in 2013 for the Red Bull Music Academy and with the XII Bienal Española de Arquitectura y Urbanismo Prize for Medialab-Prado. Also they have been distinguished with the FAD Prize 2012, the ar+d Award for Emerging Architecture 2012 and AD Heineken Award to the New Talents 2013. They have been prize winners in several competitions, among which Center for Professional Activities competition in 2012 and Intermediae/Prado international competition in 2007 can be highlighted. Their work has been selected to be exhibited in different places and events like Arquia Próxima 2012, XI Bienal Española de Arquitectura y Urbanismo in 2011, Young Architects Program at Maxxi Roma in 2010, Loading Madrid in 2010, XI Biennale di Venezia in 2008, FreshForward exhibition in 2007 and 44 International Young Architects in 2007. They also have been invited to a number of conferences and workshops, and they were selected to be Jurors for the Santo Domingo Bienale.
