Presentation

Luis Sánchez Blasco (Madrid 1976) is an Architect from the Superior Technical School of Architecture of Madrid, ETSAM (2003) and DEA (2012) in the Department of Architectural Projects of ETSAM. He has been a Mentor Professor in the UD. Sancho and currently divides his time between his studio Arquitectos Madrid 2.0 and as director of the Digital Magazine of Architecture  COSAS de ARQUITECTOS, which he founded.

Since 2010 COSAS de ARQUITECTOS (www.cosasdearquitectos.com) has become one of the premier Spanish language web sites on architecture, and according to the TEADs ranking it is the most influential Spanish language architecture blog. It currently has more than 50,000 followers on Twitter, almost 200,000 on Facebook and more than 150,000 page views a month and around 1,200 published articles.

In its five years of existence, COSAS de ARQUITECTOS has been present in many events of the sector and has created lists of architects and architecture blogs on social media, which have appeared in various media outlets, such as El Mundo.

In 2012 he was one of four Spanish bloggers invited to attend the Prince de Asturias Awards ceremony, when Rafael Moneo received his award. 

In 2013 he was moderator of the round table on the dissemination of culture on the internet held in the Zinc Shower entrepreneur meeting. That same year he gave a workshop on Social Networks for Architects during Architecture Week in the COAM.

In 2014 he began to collaborate with the architectural diffusion podcast  “La Morsa Era Yo” receiving the award for  “Best history and culture podcast” in the IX Jornadas de Podcasting. That same year he discussed Blogs and Social Networks for architects in the community Arquitectura y Construcción 2.0 and later in the second edition of Tech Construction Day. During Architecture Week in Seville he was a presenter in “El Libro de arquitectura en la era digital” organized by the Junta de Andalucía and La Ciudad Viva.

He has also been a recurrent editor for various media like Plan Reforma and currently of the  Fundación Arquia blog.
