Presentation

NoName architecture was established in La Plata, Argentina in 2016 by Juan Verdaguer Aguerrebehere (1993), a graduate from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Carlos Brizuela (1993) and Ismael Pretti (1991), both students at the same university. It is currently composed of 6 members.

We are a group of students and professionals of architecture (young architects), involved in various disciplines. We come from different universities and countries and our aim is to recover spaces dedicated to reflection and to reconsider conventionalisms in architecture and society. We have already done some teaching (ad honorem, as it is Juan’s case), participated in competitions with a team that is currently growing, and collaborated with studios like SMF Arquitectos and Aisenson Arquitectos. Additionally, with the aim to broadcast architecture, in 2017 we created a radio show in which we interviewed famous architects in Argentina.

We have a strong focus in single family homes. We dedicate a great deal of our time to study variables for projects which are interconnected to poetry, music, cinema and literature. Some of our projects have been awarded and been published in Argentine and Spain. We have participated in national and international competitions, obtaining 11 prizes in total. In 2018, 5 of our projects were selected for the Biennial of Architecture of Argentine.
