AMAZON RIVER BRINGS UP AND CULTIVATES A GREAT CIVILIZATION AND DIVERSE CULTURES ALONG ITS RIVERSIDE. IT IS CONSIDERED AS A “BRIDGE” TO LINK TOGETHER ALL CREATURES AS A FAMILY, AND BROADENED OUR VIEWS REGARDING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CULTURE, HUMAN, AND THE NATURE. MOREOVER, THE TROPICAL RAINFOREST OF MANAUS BRAZIL IS ONE OF THE MOST STORIES GEOGRAPHICAL REGIONS IN HISTORIES. THIS SPECIAL AND PARTICULAR AREA ACTED AS A “FRONTIER” DURING PAST FEW DECADES. THE COMPLEXITY AND DIVERSITY OF MANAUS DELIVER A GREAT DEAL OF POSSIBILITIES AND POTENTIALS TO EDUCATE, CONTRIBUTE, AND SOLVE CRITICAL ISSUES WE’RE FACING TODAY.

THE OBSERVATORY IS FLOATING AS A “TRANSFER STATION” BETWEEN CITY OF MANAUS AND THE FOREST. IT SETS UP VARIOUS CONNECTIONS AND METHORDS IN HOW WE CAN EXPERIENCE THIS GORGEOUS AMAZON BASIN.

OUR IDEA GENERATED FROM THE UNDERSTANG OF RIVER AND WATERFLOW. THE FORMATION OF BOTH ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPE ARE DRIVEN BY NATURAL WATER FORCE. THEN THE PROGRAMS ARE ACCORDINGLY SPLIT INTO THE ENTIRE SITE. THIS OBSERVATORY ESTABLISHES A CLOSE DIALOGUE WITH LANDSCAPE AND NATURAL SURROUNDINS OF THIS UNIQUE REGION OF THE PLANET.
