On Friday November 14 took place in the Paper Pavilion, designed by renowned Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, located in the IE School of Architecture & Design in Madrid (Spain), the IE ARCHITECTURE+ Prize Awards Ceremony.

This call counted on the participation of 319 architects, of whom 84 finally sent their proposals. The competition was opened to all architects who have submitted their Final Degree Project in any School of Architecture of Spain between 2010 and 2014 and obtained a grade of 7/10 or higher.

The prize consisted of admittance to IE Master in Design for Work, Retail and Learning Environments or IE Master in Architectural Management and Design programs for the 2015-2016 academic year and scholarships valued in €26,500 for the winners.

The winners received a diploma from hands of the professors Guzmán de Yarza and Juan Lago-Novás, both members of the Jury in this contest. The other Jury members were unable to attend the Awards Ceremony due to their appointments, but sent a message of thanks and congratulations to the participants for the quality of the proposals received.

After the Awards Ceremony the participants were able to enjoy the winning projects, exposed for the occasion, and subsequently held a relaxed cocktail.

Thank you for attending and congratulations to the winners!
