The idea of this pavilion is to add different levels to a concert. The visitor can move in a gradient of music: from the "face to face" concert up to a background setting:
Walking through a concert: While the musician acts in the center of the pavilion,
the visitor can take a walk through the concert and watching the exhibition,
taking a nap in a hammock, enjoying the panoramic views and nature ...
having a cup of tea on the roofterrace.
The music pavilion is situated at the riverbank of the Serpentine lake, near the
boat house - in the evening the visitors can enjoy the sundown while playing
or listening to music.
concert levels: classical - secondary level - interactive
In the ground floor the classical concert is taking place: audience to artist. In the 1st floor the
musician can be seen from a gallery. From the 1st to the 3rd floor the people can listen beside
enjoing the attractions of the pavilion. The higher the visitor gets, the more the music takes a
back seat. The stage is for everybody and if there is no concert everywhere in the pavilion
people can play music and sing together. Two big windows connect the staircase and the
roofterrace to the concert hall.

The music spreads from the hall through the slots between the boards and
creates different acoustical situations in the exhibition space.
