The project focuses on the importance of the Nile and highlights its great impact. The great river did not only shape the terrain and land but the effect extended to every part of the daily life, the museum symbolizes this by embracing wide variety of activities and experiences. The form itself reflects the powerful impact of the Nile and the forces it possess.
The museum’s journey is designed to expose the visitors to contrasting experiences formed by the relationship between the structure and the ancient Nile, starting from spaces hosting human interaction with the Nile to complete isolation from its effect, reflecting the Nile’s role as a center of gravity that balances the universe elements and the diversity of the subsequent environment.
The structure of the museum integrates with the surrounding environment whether natural or built, where the museum rests on the hill with the minimum footprint on nature leaving the landscape free and natural, adding another dimension to the human-Nile relationship.
