The Museum’s design features a triangular prism form representing the three ancient Egyptian Gods: Isis, Osiris and their son Horus. The Gods who shaped ancient Egyptian history through the myth of Isis’s search of Osiris’s body floating down the river Nile. To emphasize the greatness of the Nile to Egypt, the visitors will only be able to access the Museum form the Nile using boats; giving them a sense of how important the Nile is from ancient times until today. Accordingly, came the idea of The Boat’s Dock Atrium, allowing the visitors to enter directly from the Nile into the Museum’s atrium.
