The Kinetic Pavilion is an example of a new kind of architecture that is taking its own space in these last years: responsive architecture. The idea behind this project is to reproduce some natural processes that are able to perform as their technological equivalent, so without the need of external energy, using the wood as primary material and its own hygroscopic features. The wood responds to the surrounding environment, creating a deep link with the park, and changing the function of the pavilion during the day/night cycle and creating a very dynamic space to live in.
