We place a generic object, in a generic space. Yes, we know that all cities and cultures have their traditions and customs of their own, but, isn't all just random objects in random places? We choose a typical form of the colonial period on America, place the program within, and intersect a generic structure across it. But then we ask us, what about San Pedro de Atacama? So we place all the program, museum, hotel and tours, right next to town. Why? you could ask. Well, they need a place to be, like all of us, like parks and recreational spaces. We are talking about contradiction. Do architecture really solve problems?
