In summary, Pueblo Bueno is a cultural and resource centre for spanish artists in Washington DC. The neoclassical village, that belongs to the spanish government, becomes the centre of the design. The building houses a number of social cultural spaces, and also flexible spaces used for exhibitions. Across the street is the new building, where we can find the teaching and performing spaces, and also the artist’s apartments. The building itself acts as a bridge linking the two facilities over the street. The building make reference to traditional architecture, from Madrid the city roofs, and from Washington the townhouses.
