The five finalists for the 2013 Mies van der Rohe Award have now been announced. They have been shortlisted from the 335 nominated works from 37 different European countries.

The selected projects were the Superkilen urban park in Copenhagen (Denmark), by BIG Bjarke Ingels Group, Topotek1 and Superflex; the Ghent City Hall (Belgium), by Robbrecht en Daem architecten and Marie-José Van Hee architecten; the Residence for the Elderly in Alcácer do Sal (Portugal), by Aires Mateus Arquitectos; the Metropol Parasol in Seville (Spain) by J. Mayer H. and the Harpa Auditorium and Congress Centre in Reykjavik (Iceland), by Batteríid architects, Henning Larsen Architects and Studio Olafur Eliasson.

The winner of the award, which comes with a 60,000-euro purse, will be announced in early May, and the prize-giving ceremony will be held on 6 June in the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion of Barcelona.

Ya han sido anunciados los cinco finalistas que competirán por el Premio Mies van der Rohe, elegidos de entre las 335 obras nominadas, procedentes de 37 países europeos distintos. 

Los proyectos seleccionados han sido el Ayuntamiento de Gante (Bélgica), de Robbrecht en Daem architecten y Marie-José Van Hee architecten; el parque urbano Superkilen en Copenhague (Dinamarca), de BIG Bjarke Ingels Group, Topotek1 y Superflex; el Auditorio y Centro de Congresos Harpa en Reikiavik (Islandia), de Batteríid architects, Henning Larsen Architects y Studio Olafur Eliasson; la Residencia de ancianos en Alcácer do Sal (Portugal), de Aires Mateus Arquitectos y el Metropol Parasol en Sevilla (España) de J. Mayer H.

El ganador del premio, dotado con 60.000 euros, se dará a conocer a principios de mayo, y la ceremonia de entrega se celebrará el 6 de junio en el Pabellón Mies van der Rohe de Barcelona.
