Museum of the Ancient Nile
Cultural Passage of Nile
MoAN - 1062
The intention of our project is to create a museum that emerges through the topography and emphasizes the importance of Nile.It permits the river to flow through the museum and separate it in two masses. The western one refers to memory and the eastern one represents life. The masses arise from a triangle in the plan, which is the facade of pyramids rotated vertically. The river’s imprint on the roof is where the annual festival in honour of the Nile take place. The museum is a symbolic entrance to the Egyptian civilization.
