President of the CSCAE (Spanish Council of Architecture Associations).

Architect and Master in Urban Planning at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

In 1975 opened a professional office in Manresa and Barcelona, having worked in various fields, ranging from Architecture to Urban Planning to Landscape Architecture. Worked as a Municipal Architect in various Ayuntamientos in Bages (province of Barcelona).

Author of various articles for the press and specialized magazines.Has given speeches in courses on urban planning management, architecture and environment and territorial planning.

Former President of the Barcelona Chapter of the COAC (College of Architects of Catalonia) and of its Bages-Berguedà Delegation (2002-2006), as well as President of ASAAP (Architects working for the Public Administration) (1998-2002).

From July 2006 Dean of the COAC.

During his mandate at the head of the COAC he has carried out an ambitious plan to transform this organization into a more useful, professionalized institution, maintaining the broad network of chapters distributed throughout the territory, and more open to the profession and society.

He has also served as a counsellor of the CSCAE [Spanish Council of Architecture Schools] and on July 2007 as Second Vice President of the institution. On 4 November, 2009 he was elected President of the CSCAE. Jordi Ludevid i Anglada replaced Carlos Hernández Pezziand took over the post on 13 January, 2010, with a four year mandate.
