As an experimental project, the initial idea was to immerse in the city centre and then propose interventions in specific places. Therefore, one essential question for the work was: how does a public space instigate and provoke the citizen? Thenceforth, the creation of a synthesis map, in which an imaginary route interconnected the outbursts, the conventional culture, the public spaces and the empty areas, set four areas to host projects that follow the concepts of dimensions: 2d, the plan; 3d, the profundity; 4d, the time; and 5d, the multiverse.

The origin of this final project has it point of departure in a stong entailment with the commercial sphere. During my architectural education I discovered the comercial urbanism and started to perceive the trade as a urban reactivation and dinamization tool. This comprenhension began in Paris, visiting its arcades, neighbourhoods and discovering its literature , specifically, the Flâneur of Baudelaire , with whom I find out a strong linkage. My starting point ,a remarkable controversy, the “monopoly” of “ La Jeune Rue” (Paris). This Final Project draws, maps, reproduces...

Purpose Manhattan:
New York is the perfect stage for movies, pictures and romantic scenes. A great deal has been written about perfect weddings in the Big Apple, brides wanting to turn his dream into reality and travel to New York to marry or to celebrate the honeymoon.

A wedding in Roosevelt Island:
The project is located on Roosevelt Island (East River of New York City), between the island of Manhattan to the west and the borough of Queens to the east.

It reflects and investigates on a new program that meets the needs currently not satisfied in Manhattan.
