In July 1882, the British fleet besieged Alexandria’s forts and due to the Egyptian government refusal of removing all the firepower, the bombardment of Alexandria began lasting 3 consecutive days marking the start for the British conquest of Egypt.
The museum aims to give life to the neighborhood through the studies and embracement of its historical military past and creating a central magnet attracting people while creating an urban space in the plaza suitable for the use of the inhabitants.
