The design of the Allied House School of Theatrical Arts was done for a mini-dissertation for my BArch Honours Architecture Year(2021) as preparation for the dissertation that will be done in 2022 for MArch Masters in Architecture. Shortly the design focused on the creation of an experimental form of theatre within the Central Business District of Bloemfontein that would in essence break the fourth wall between audience and performance, essentially creating a newfound interaction that has not been properly engaged with in the history of theatre.
